We enjoy meeting the many visitors who come to our school to have a look around. During normal circumstances, tours take place each Thursday morning during term time, when you can come and meet the Headteacher and be shown around the school by a dedicated member of staff/parent. It is a great opportunity to see our lovely school for yourself, and to take a peek into each classroom.
If you are interested in a visit, please contact the office via email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
However, in the current climate, we are putting the health and safety of our school community at the forefront of our practice and not holding tours. To that end, the staff and students have developed a short tour video to give you a little taste of what life at Riversdale is like. You can find this below.
To accompany the tour video, we have put together a Frequently Asked Questions document, which you can find here.
Riversdale's Nursery has 8 full-time places and 36 part-time places. These are divided into 18 in the morning and 18 in the afternoon. Please note that a Nursery place is no guarantee of a place in Reception the following year.
Applications to join Riversdale's Nursery are made through the school itself. Places are allocated using standard criteria which can be found in the following document.
Applications for a Nursery place must be received by the school on or before the last day of January each year. Application forms are available from the school office or can be downloaded here. Please note that forms must be handed in or posted to the school office, e-mailed forms cannot be accepted.
There is also useful information about Nursery education to be found on the Wandsworth Borough website.
Riversdale is a two form entry (60 places) school as of September 2017.
Applications for places in Reception to Year 6 are coordinated by the local authority not the school.
More information and how to apply online or via an application form can also be found on the Wandsworth Council website. Please see link.
There is a right to appeal if your child does not get a place in the school of your choice. This is handled by the local authority and more information and guidance can be found on their website.
