As we enter a further national lockdown, the school remains open for vulnerable children or the children of key workers. For the vast majority of the community however, this means learning from home. In order to ensure that the school is providing home learning opportunities that mirror the high quality lessons the children receive in school, Riversdale will continue to use the Google Suite for Education range of facilities. In order to make life that little bit easier, we have developed a Google Site, with links directly to the login pages of our students' most commonly used apps, such as Mathletics, Google Classroom and Spelling Shed. Click here to access this.
As a Rights Respecting School that is always looking for ways to support our local community in accessing their rights, such as a clean and safe environment, we have decided to move towards an almost paperless communication system. We are proud to use Weduc as our parent/carer communication smart phone app. You can learn more about this by following this link. At Riversdale, we aim to make our procedures quick and simple. To this end we use SIMS Pay (formally called SIMS Agora) as our online payment facility. SIMS Pay give you a more convenient and flexible way to pay us online. By making cashless payments you know that your money has reached the school safely. Mathletics switches kids on to mathematics. It’s engaging, supportive and targeted to the National Curriculum. Students are regularly set tasks to complete online for homework. Please follow this link to the student log in page.
Riversdale Primary School is proud to have Edwards and Ward as our school caterers. Edwards & Ward are delighted to provide fresh, nutritious and healthy lunches to the pupils. They are an award-winning caterer, specialising in education and they have built their reputation on fresh food prepared on site by staff who care about what they do. They use fresh locally sources fruit and vegetables, where possible, and in keeping with Riversdale’s status as a Rights Respecting School, they use fair trade products too.

As a Healthy Eating School we take every opportunity to ensure that our children eat a healthy and varied diet.
