At Riversdale Primary School, the health and safety of our staff and pupils is paramount. To that end, during this difficult time, we have developed a temporary Covid specific webpage outlining some key information regarding the impact of possible Covid outbreaks at the school.
If your child begins to display any symptoms of covid, please follow the course of actions in the flowchart below. If you need to book a PCR test for your child, as per the flowchart, you can do using the following link: https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test
The Covid Outbreak Contingency Plan document outlines what a parent/carer must do if their child displays symptoms and what actions the school will take at different levels of an outbreak.
Please see below for the circumstances when a child should miss school/self-isolate:
Should classes be required to close due to an outbreak, our remote education provision will ensure that home learning opportunities mirror the high quality lessons the children receive in school. Riversdale will continue to use the Google Suite for Education range of facilities for this purpose. For more information about this, please read the Virtual Learning Environment Policy on the school's Policies page.
To support parents/carers in understanding what their child(ren)'s remote learning experience may look like, we have developed a Remote Education Provision document that answer some commonly asked questions. Read More.
