Just a reminder that the Year 3 and 4 Christmas shows will be on Thursday 14th December at 9.30am and...
Jason, Kendal and Stacey are really looking forward to the exciting learning that’s going to take place this year!
Our main topics will include The Tudors and Ancient Egypt in History; The Water Cycle and Rivers in Geography; ‘Into the Forest’, ‘The Iron Man’, ‘Wind and the Willows’ and ‘Ma’at’s Feather’ in Literacy.
We have several fun trips planned for the year ahead. To enhance our history topic on the Tudors we will visit Hampton Court Palace. Later in the year, the children will visit the Neasden Temple to accompany our RE topic of Hinduism. We may even have time for a trip to help us learn about plants and animals and why they live in certain habitats. The children will be fascinated by the Egyptian Mummies in The British Museum, learning all about the grisly process involved in mummification, especially how the brain was removed!
Year 4 will also have the opportunity to play the fife this year and will produce some rhythmic and harmonic tunes.
