Whole School Half Term Homework...

Published on:

As a rights respecting school, we explore each of the United Nations Children’s Rights with the students, through a range of avenues, both curricular and extra-curricular. As an extended homework project this half term, we are asking the children to produce a piece of art work inspired by one of the children’s rights. These can be through any medium: paint, pencil or digital prints. The children could even make some 3D art such as sculptures/models.

The artwork will be displayed across the school and the best pieces will go into an art gallery as part of the Riversdale Curriculum Event on 28th June 2017.

Please make sure that your child’s art work has their name and the article number written on the back so that we can recognise your child’s hard work.

If you would like to take a look at the UNCRC Articles have a look at the Global Citizens Page of our school website, under the Community tab.

Alternatively, a summary of the articles for adults can be found here.
